Jenny grew up throughout the Southeast but calls North Carolina home, having lived in Winston-Salem for 24 years. She graduated from Wake Forest University with a Bachelor of Science in Health and Exercise Science. Jenny’s work resume spans teaching middle and high school math and science (and coaching JV basketball) to managing multiple medical practices to most recently being a CAP/C social work case manager before deciding to focus her energy on this organization. Jenny is one of the co-founders of AFMFKNC, determined to ensure that services and supports remain available for all families who need them. She serves on several state boards including NC Medicaid’s Medical Care Advisory Committee and Olmstead Plan Stakeholder Advisory and has been an invited speaker at numerous events on Medicaid, waiver programs, and CAP/C. Jenny has 3 medically fragile children who drive her passion for this work. She also has an oldest daughter and future son-in-law. She lives with her husband, Ernie, kids, and a variety of pets in Winston-Salem.
